2010 Green Carnival

Ocean Park has always been a key supporter in promoting environmental and wildlife conservation awareness to our community. In addition, the Park actively reaches out to other similar minded organizations in partnerships to heighten the public's environmental awareness.

In January 2010, Ocean Park took part in the 6th Epson Green Carnival, hosted by the Green Council of Hong Kong, with the theme of “Fight Global Warming”. Green Council is a non-profit organization with an aim to encourage businesses to carry out green purchasing and public education.

The Green Carnival was held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and attracted more than ten thousand participants. Other participates of the event included Electrical & Mechanical Services Department, Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department, CLP Group, Ngong Ping 360, etc. Ocean Park's Carnival booth "Green Living is Do-able" helped convey environmental and nature conservation messages to visiting students and the community using fun-filled games!
